Stetho is a new-age healthcare education company that trains allied health professionals: lab scientists, anaesthesia and operation-theatre technologists, radiographers and physiotherapists.
Its bachelor's and diploma programs are regulated by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP). Stetho partners with recognised colleges and universities, providing the curriculum, labs, digital classrooms, admissions support and placements, while the partner institutions award the degrees.
Stetho promises a tech-first education: live and recorded lectures, practice tests and full visibility for students. That promise had to be real from day one, not a year later. The company was brand new, its first admissions cycle was under way, and the first academic session started in September. The student app had to be live by then.
Its most valuable asset, the recorded lectures, also needed protecting. The content is Stetho's own intellectual property, and it couldn't be allowed to leak out of the app.
Stetho's long-term vision includes much more than a first release could deliver. I cut the MVP down to what students would need in their first weeks. Everything else was planned as modules to release during the year.
Lecture videos are proprietary, so I made security a core requirement, not a later add-on. We built encryption into every stage of how videos are stored, delivered and played, so lectures can only be watched inside the app and can't be downloaded, copied or shared outside it.
With a fixed September deadline, nothing could wait for anything else. Modules were developed in parallel instead of one after another.
We submitted the first stable version of the app to the App Store and Google Play before the MVP was ready, so later approvals would go through faster. And when Stetho's D-U-N-S number, which a company needs to publish apps under its own name, took considerably longer than planned, building carried on without waiting for it.
The MVP was deliberately small, but what sits underneath it isn't. The app is built on a strong foundation, so new modules can be added without reworking what's already been built, and AI can be integrated across the product as it grows. That lets us keep building on top of it through the coming months.
As Stetho's fractional CTO, I own the technology decisions, and Reset's team builds the product. That gives Stetho one accountable partner from strategy to delivery.
Reset also runs Stetho's social media and performance marketing, and has taken over its website and SEO to raise Stetho's visibility as it grows.
They played a pivotal role in driving our growth at Stetho, handling our mobile application development, social media management, and performance marketing with incredible dedication and skill.
If you are looking for a reliable, highly skilled, and result-oriented partner to scale your product and digital presence, I cannot recommend Akshit and his team highly enough!”
