Find out what your website is costing you. Free.
A simple website audit for founders and CEOs: a grade for your website, the problems losing you enquiries, what they cost you each month, and how you compare with your competitors. We check every page in minutes.
Takes 3–10 minutes. No card, no call, nothing to install.
Enquiries are bouncing and mobile visitors wait 6 seconds.
Your team says the website is fine. Your customers may disagree.
A contact email that bounces. A "Get a quote" button that goes nowhere. A home page that takes six seconds on a phone. Google showing the wrong page. ChatGPT recommending your competitor because it can't read your site.
None of this shows up in a meeting. Visitors don't complain; they leave. And the reports your developers or agency send are long lists of jargon that don't tell you what any of it costs, or what to fix first.
This check tells you, simply, in ten minutes.
Six questions about your website, answered
Each gets a score out of 100. Behind them are more than 70 checks we run on every page, plus Google's own speed test and an AI read of your copy.
Getting enquiriesCan visitors reach you and get in touch?
Broken pages and links, forms that don't submit, phone numbers and emails that don't work, and contact details that differ from page to page.
Speed on mobileDoes your site load fast enough on a phone?
Google's PageSpeed test on your most visited pages, plus slow server responses and needless redirects. Every extra second costs you about 4% of your enquiries.
Found on GoogleCan people find you when they search?
Whether Google can read, index and correctly show every page: titles, descriptions, duplicate pages, the sitemap and what you're telling search engines to ignore.
Brand & credibilityDoes the site look cared for and trustworthy?
Typos and contradictions in your copy, placeholder text, broken images, an old copyright year, and how your pages look when shared on WhatsApp or LinkedIn.
Recommended by AICan ChatGPT and other AI assistants read and recommend you?
More buyers now ask an AI instead of searching. We check whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity are allowed to read your site, and whether they can understand what you do.
Risk & complianceAre you exposed on privacy, security or accessibility?
Secure connections, forms that leak personal details, basic security settings, and barriers for people with disabilities.
A report you can read in five minutes
- 1
A grade and a verdict.
One score for the whole website, and one sentence on what it means for the business.
- 2
What needs your attention.
The three to five problems costing you the most, what each one costs, and exactly what to ask your team to do.
- 3
What it's costing you.
Tell us how many enquiries you get and what one is worth. We'll estimate what slow and broken pages cost you each month.
- 4
How you compare.
We suggest your likely competitors and check up to three of them the same way, so you can see where they're ahead of you.
- 5
A list for your team.
Every issue on every page, with how to fix it, as a spreadsheet you can forward to your developer or agency.
Why not just ask your team?
You should. But they built the site, and they report in their language. This is an independent second opinion, written for you.
| Question | A typical developer report | Reset's health check |
|---|---|---|
| Written for | Developers | The person who runs the business |
| Tells you | What's technically wrong | What it costs you and what to fix first |
| Covers | The pages someone remembered to check | Every page, every time |
| Who's checking | The people who built it | An independent team with nothing to defend |
| Time | Days | About 10 minutes |
The report is free. Fixing it is up to you.
Most leaders forward the list to their own team or agency, and use the grade to check the work got done: run a fresh check after the fixes, and the score should go up.
If you'd rather we handled it, Reset can fix the problems for you or sit down with your team and agree what to do first.
Talk to us ↗FAQ
Is it really free?
Yes. The grade, the summary and the full report are free. We offer it because some people who see their report ask us to help fix it. There's no obligation.
What do you need from me?
Just your website address to start. You'll see your grade and the top problem straight away. To see the full report, we ask for your name and email. Your phone number is optional.
How do you put a money figure on it?
You tell us how many enquiries the website brings in each month and what one is worth to you. We only price effects with published research behind them: slow mobile pages (conversion falls about 4% for every extra second) and pages that show errors. Your numbers stay in your browser.
How long does it take?
Most sites are done in 3–10 minutes. Bigger sites take a little longer.
How many pages do you check?
Up to 500 pages in one free check. For bigger sites, get in touch.
Do I need to be technical to read it?
No. The report is written for the person who runs the business. The technical detail is folded away in a section for your team.
Can I compare my website with my competitors?
Yes. Once you've seen your report, we suggest up to ten likely competitors and tick the three your customers are most likely to compare you with. Keep those, pick others, or add any website. Every site, yours included, gets the same quick check, so the comparison is fair.
Can I check a competitor's site on its own?
Yes. We only read public pages, follow the site's robots.txt rules, and identify ourselves as ResetSiteQABot.
How is this different from a free SEO audit tool?
Most website audit tools are built for developers and SEO specialists, and give you a long list of technical warnings. This one is written for the person who runs the business: one grade, the few problems that matter, what they cost you, and how you stack up against competitors. The technical list is still there for your team.
Can you fix the problems for me?
Yes, if you want us to. We can quote for the fixes, or brief your own team. Most people hand the report to their developer or agency.
